Obituary

Louise A. (Lou) Walters of Riverton passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 1 st , she was 81.

Louise was born in Clair, NB, Canada to the late Albany and Gertrude Long.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being the "boss lady," but her favorite thing was being Nana to her grandson and great-grandson, whom she adored.

For nearly 30 years Lou and her husband, Stan, owned and operated Stan's Auto Service, Inc., in Riverton.  During this time Lou and Stan were very involved in the community.  They were always willing to collect for, sponsor, and contribute to local organizations and charities.  They were also the Showcase Sponsor for the Riverton 4th of July Celebration for many years, and they always enjoyed attending the Yacht Club cocktail party and driving one of their classic cars in the parade.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Stanley, daughter, Linda (Ted) Horswood, grandson, Jordan (Amanda) Horswood, great-grandson, Lincoln Stanley Horswood, sisters, Doreen (Felix) Lavoie, Stella Beleckis, sister-in-law, Janet (Warren) Davis and many nieces & nephews.

A visitation for Louise will be held on Saturday, September 10 th from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org or to Central Baptist Church, 514 Maple Ave., Palmyra, NJ 08065
