Marcella F. McCarthy of Toms River passed away peacefully on November 27th, she was 68.

Marcella was born in Philadelphia to the late Harold and Elizabeth (nee Rooney).  She graduated from Cinnaminson Schools and enjoyed a long career with Fed Ex.  After retirement, Marcella moved to Toms River to be closer to the NJ Shore.

Marcella was very charitable, spent many hours volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House, would do anything for her family, including being the caretaker for her parents towards the end of their lives.

Marcella enjoyed cruises, Ocean City, NJ, and family gatherings.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Patrick.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Christine, siblings, Mary Beth (Joseph) Artuso, Thomas Rupert, Kathleen Rupert, Joseph (Laura) Rupert, Daniel (Dana) Rupert, sister-in-law, Suzanne Rupert, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Marcella will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 9:00am to 10:00am at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
