Marie S. Grass, age 84, of Edgewater Park, NJ, formerly of Holyoke, Massachusetts, passed away on September 23, 2022.

Marie worked as a dedicated Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years and enjoyed her job and all the staff and clients she worked with before retiring. She very much enjoyed gardening in her spare time and had quite the green thumb. She loved listening to her old country music and Spanish music (especially mariachi). One of Marie's favorite things to do was go to the beach sitting there getting the sun and watching/listening to the ocean.

Marie was a devoted mother to her children Sherry Powell, Gerald Grass (Kimberly), Lynda Laury (the late Donald), Penny Petty (Joseph Kondrath) and Kenneth Grass (Lisa). Dear grandmother of Emily LaRose, Derrick Powell, Oliver Grass, Vincent Laury, James Laury, Jennifer Taylor, Jessica Petty, Jaydan Kelly, Grayson Kelly, Joshua Grass, Angela Grass, and Mikayla Grass. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Dan, Alex, Pete, Joe, and Phillip, her sister Cecelia.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
