Knouff
Apr 20, 1928 — May 17, 2024
Marie Knouff (nee Salerno) of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on May 17, 2024 at age 96.
Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Knouff, brothers John, Nicholas, Norman, Michael, and Dominick Salerno and sisters Mary Salerno, Louise Pounds, and Rose Ahern. Born and raised in Camden, NJ, she is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marie graduated from Montclair State Teachers College in NJ which started her on a vocational path in education, first in teaching and later in guidance counseling, impacting a countless number of student lives. Marie and Bill's careers spanned New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Dominican Republic. She loved being with family and friends, loved being with a good book or newspaper, loved being in Cape May, NJ, and, most importantly, loved just being with Bill. Marie was always there for someone who needed a helping hand and when you saw that special twinkle in her eyes, it was impossible to come away without a smile.

A private interment will be scheduled at a later date at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
