Marie C. Pietroforte, age 91, a resident of Cinnaminson, NJ for 65 years, passed peacefully at her home on May 2, 2025.

Marie was born in 1933 in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY to the late Mary (nee' Salvatore) and Louis Ferretti, one of their seven children. She grew up in Richmond Hill and graduated from Richmond Hill High School. Marie married her husband, Frank Pietroforte, in 1957 after which they relocated to the Overbrook Section of Philadelphia before moving to Cinnaminson, NJ in 1960 to raise their family. She was a founding member of St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Parish in Cinnaminson.

Marie was completely devoted to her family, providing a loving and caring home for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Being with her family brought her great joy. She enjoyed gardening and liked to sing as she tended to her garden and her home. Marie was kind to all animals, supporting many rescue organizations throughout her life, and especially loved her cats, having rescued and adopted many throughout her life. She instilled her love of animals and pets to her family.

Marie was predeceased in 2008 by her beloved husband of 51 years, Frank Pietroforte, and is survived by their loving children, Marie D. Pozniak and her husband Billy, Laura P. Garwood and her husband Phil, and Gerald F. Pietroforte and his wife Sue. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren, Laura Kaiser (Danny), Dennis Pozniak, Keith Pozniak, Brooke Garwood (Nick Gardiner), Lisa Sebastiani (Dino), Holly Carr (Matt), Michael Pietroforte (Courtney), Daniel Pietroforte and Casey Pietroforte (Josh Knowles), as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Chelsea Bohn-Pozniak, Julian Pozniak, Hazel, Calvin & Eliza Gardiner, Vincent Sebastiani, Natalie Carr and Desmond Pietroforte.

Marie is also survived by her many close nieces and nephews, along with their families, her many friends and her beloved cat Annie. She was also predeceased by her six siblings, Rocky Ferretti, Rose Sorrentino, Jo Curd, Louis Ferretti, Phil Ferretti and Gerald Ferretti.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, all at the Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street and Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077.
