Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Marilynn J. Pottichen, 83, of Palmyra, NJ., who passed away peacefully on October 8, surrounded by her loving family.

Marilynn was born in Philadelphia to the late Francis and Myrtle Wolf. She worked as an office manager for J. J. Maloney for many years and held various other positions throughout her career.

Above all, Marilynn loved her family and treasured the time she spent with those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who brought so much joy to her life. She had a sassy personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of making those around her laugh and smile. She loved music and was always singing along to her favorite songs. She also loved to read and could often be found enjoying a good book. Marilynn enjoyed the excitement of a trip to the casino or a day at the racetrack—some of her favorite ways to have fun. Whether she was enjoying her favorite music, sharing a laugh, getting lost in a good book, trying her luck, or simply spending time surrounded by her family, she embraced the moments that made life special.

Marilynn’s feisty spirit, laughter, and love for her family will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. ❤️

Marilynn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Pottichen. She is survived by her daughters, Kayce (Dominick) Scioli and Jayme (Michael) O’Malley; her cherished grandchildren, Nicky Scioli, Brooke-Lynn Scioli, and Reece O’Malley; her brothers, Frank Wolf and Wayne Wolf; her sister, Kimberly Hyndman; her sister in law, Helene Wildsmith; her brother in law, William Pottichen; she will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Marilynn's feisty spirit, laughter, and love for her family will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. ❤️

A visitation for Marilynn will be held on Thursday, October 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
