Martina A. Harrington, age 41, of Haddon Township, NJ passed suddenly on June 14, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
Martina was born in Mount Holly, NJ, but settled in Haddon Township, NJ. She attended Wilmington University, Delaware where she made the Dean's List several semesters and graduated with honors, Epsilon Pi Tau, while obtaining her Bachelor's of Psychology and Master's Degree of Human Services. She went on to become certified as a Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor through the State of New Jersey. She worked at Cooper Hospital and Oaks Integrated Care, until more recently, obtaining a position with RWJ Barnabas Hospital, where she enjoyed working previously as a Case Manager. Martina was a hard worker and exceptional in helping her patients obtain the resources and care they needed to thrive.
Martina loved to travel and was passionate about her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was always independent, caring, organized, self-sufficient, a quick-learner, intuitive, resourceful, but most of all she was a Happy Person whose spirit uplifted all those around her.
Martina was predeceased by her beloved mother, Francine Harrington, and is survived by; her grandfather, Isaac Harrington; her father, Anthony Sanders; her siblings, Tiasha Sanders, Kenyatta Bourne and her husband Jamal Bourne, Charee Sanders and her fiancé Logan Worthington, Dante Sanders, Sharday Sanders and Khalil Sanders. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Alden and Melody Williams, Ishmael Worthington, Elijah, Christyn, Faith, Gabriel, Sarai, Michael and Amani Bourne, as well has her Aunt Tracy McDonald and Uncle Victor Sanders along with a host of many family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 10:45 AM all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Burial will then follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 1605 Union Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110 Remembrances may be shared with her family at www.weberfuneralhomeinc.com
