Mary M. Altopiedi (nee Villari), age 99, of Cinnaminson, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April 18, 2023 at her home.
Mary was born in Palmyra, NJ to the late Natala (nee Petitto) & Paolo "Paul" Villari, and was one of seven children. She grew up in Palmyra and attended Palmyra High School. As part of the Villari Family the center of their world was the family restaurant, Villari's Milmarian Restaurant at Spring Garden Street and Route 73, which was named after their three daughters – Mildred, Mary and Anna. Mary was known as a wonderful cook and baker, always making "magic" in her kitchen.
Mary has been a resident of Cinnaminson since 1956 and was an active Parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Parish where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of the Bridge Club, the Red Hat Society and a champion Bocci player. Mary enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and spending time with her many friends, including "The Little Club" with her lifelong friends, Terry, June, Pat and Mitzi. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
Mary is survived by; her beloved children, Donna Altopiedi and her husband Michael Ahern of Ambler, PA, and Carmen P. Altopiedi of Phila., PA; her loving grandchildren, Patrick Ahern and his wife Stevie, and Jennifer Macagna and her husband AJ; and by her dear great-granddaughter Madison Macagna. Mary is also survived by her extended Villari Family with many nieces, nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077 followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. Burial will then follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Mary's memory to either St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077, or a charity that has special meaning to you. Remembrances may be shared with her family at www.weberfuneralhomeinc.com
