Mary Ellen Owens of Biddeford, ME passed away peacefully on Feb 8th, she was 77.

Mary Ellen was born in Riverside, NJ to the late Marvin and Doris Moorhouse.  After growing up in Riverside, she raised her family in Cinnaminson, NJ, then lived in the Medford Lakes area before moving to Maine full time in 2022.

Mary Ellen enjoyed shopping, reading, Civil War history, cruises, the Maine coastline, LBI and the Poconos.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Pheobe Ann Salmons, and sister – in – law, Susanne Moorhouse.  She is survived by her loving children, Amy Louise Owens, Nancy Marie Hall, Kenneth Joseph (Debbie) Owens, Jr., grandchildren, Amanda Owens, Sara Owens, Hope Owens, Johnny Hall, Emily Hall, brothers, John Moorhouse, James Moorhouse, sister-in-law, Mary Ann Owens, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing for Mary Ellen will be held on Monday, Feb. 17th, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Tuesday, Feb. 18th, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
