Nellie Agatha Johnson was born in Lucky Hill,  Jamaica to Rosetta Tucker and Kenneth Trusty on April 8 ^th , 1932.  At a young age she aspired to leave her home town of Lucky Hill to pursue a profession which allowed her to touch the lives of many with her warm spirit and heart. She trained in Scotland in the 1950's to become a Registered Nurse midwife and worked as a registered nurse in Scotland, England, Jamaica and the United States. With her nurturing spirit she delivered babies, did general nursing as well as worked in geriatric care. She had a loving soul that was evident in her life, always helping others.

After a long battle with cancer God called one of his angels home on May 17,2020 .

She will be missed by her children Lorna Frizell, Anthea O'Brien and Hugh Johnson , her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

You will be truly missed here on earth but we know in heaven you are continuing your work of always helping others. We know that  your absence in body, is your presence with the Lord. You lived a long beautiful life and are in a better place.
