Professor Paul C. Bonila, Ph.D. of Palmyra passed away suddenly on Nov. 23 ^rd , he was 67.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Paul came to the U.S. in 1981 to earn his PhD in English Literature from Temple University.  He taught at the University of Delaware, and later became a professor at the Community College of Philadelphia.  He was also a member of the Modern Language Association (MLA) and a lover of dogs.

Paul leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years, Susan (nee Hyk), son, John Bonila, brother, James (Shakeela) Bonila and their children, Joshua and Sharon, sister-in-law, Sandra (Brent) McCreedy and their children, Brian (Rachiel) Kopack, Jason (Maria) Kopack, Richard McCreedy, close cousin, Seth (Monica) Rao and dog, Sparky.

Services for Paul will be held privately.
