Regina Mary Collinsgru, age 69, of Whiting, NJ, formerly of Riverside, NJ, entrepreneur, community business leader and publisher of The Positive Press, who devoted her life to helping others, passed away on December 18, 2023.
Inspired by her years at Harvard Business School, Regina started her first business in her twenties. Letter Perfect Office Services provided typing services, consulting and mentoring to the B-School's MBA candidates along with an occasional home cooked meal. A lifelong advocate for women's rights, Regina served on the New England Women Business Owners' board of directors to provide resources, education and networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs. After returning to the town she loved so much, Riverside, NJ, her passion for business propelled her to serve as President of the Riverside Business Association, working tirelessly to revitalize the downtown business corridor. As publisher of The Positive Press, Regina's greatest joy was delivering heartwarming stories about all of the wonderful things happening in her community while supporting and promoting local businesses, non-profit organizations and events.
Regina was predeceased by the two great loves of her life, fiancé, John Carr and husband, Fernando Andrade, mother, Regina Collinsgru and brother, John Collinsgru. She is survived by her brother, Bob Collinsgru, sisters, Karen and Cindy Collinsgru, sisters-in-law, Kathy Darnell, Maura & Yolanda Collinsgru, nieces, Emily Denovich, Brittany Davis, Cindy, Patty & Sara Collinsgru, nephews, Christopher, Robert, Frank & Sean Collinsgru, great-nieces, Alexis lannoni Maddelin & Alannah Collinsgru, great-nephews, Joseph, James & Max Collinsgru and her beloved dog, Fergus MacDougall.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10:00 AM until Noon followed by a service at Noon on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 E. Broad St, Riverton, NJ 08077. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Pawsibilities of NJ at www.newpawsnj.com and the Riverside Historical Society at www.riversidehistoricalsocietynj.com , organizations Regina supported.
