Rick was a lifelong Pennsauken resident.  In his formative years, he attended (and frequently escaped from) the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA and Pennsauken High School.  Rick was a career truck driver and member of Teamsters Local 107 for over 25 years.  He was also a 15-year member of the Collingswood Cloud Lodge No. 101 of F&AM.

After retiring from the road, Rick became a Certified Master Gardener through the Rutgers Cooperative Extension in 2016.  He reached Certified Educator status and dedicated countless hours of community service through programs sponsored by the Rutgers Camden County Master Gardeners Association.  Rick continued to impress his family and friends in recent years by receiving significant gardening accolades such as the 1,000 Hour Lifetime Achievement Award and the distinguished Award of Excellence from the Rutgers Camden County Master Gardener Association.  In his spare time, you could find Rick tinkering around in his own home gardens, going to concerts and Phillies games and faithfully throwing an orange street hockey ball repeatedly for his best dog-friend, Dexter.

Rick was a loving husband to his late wife Sharon, devoted dad, super pop-pop and an incredibly loyal friend.  He was predeceased by his wife Sharon, parents Mary and William D.
