Richard M. Heeter, Sr., age 85, of Riverton, NJ peacefully passed on March 12, 2019 at home surrounded by family.

Beloved husband of Rita (nee Kirk) for 60 years. Devoted father to Eileen Keely (Paul), Valerie, Richard Jr, Marita Barth (David), Kenneth, Gregory (Iris), Thomas (Patty), Kathryn Kronewiter (Uwe), and Christina. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and 10 siblings.

Born on the 4th of July in Palmyra, NJ. A graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary, Palmyra High School, and Trenton Jr College. An engineering student at Drexel University. Staff sergeant in U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command. Employed by AT&T for 34 years as a communications technician. Avid sports enthusiast as organizer (CYO), player (basketball, baseball, football, golf), umpire, and fan of all sports.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Richard's Life Celebration on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday March 18, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ followed by his Liturgy Mass on Monday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street & Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Bridgeboro Road, Riverside, NJ.
