Richard "Dick" Taylor of Hainesport, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 14, 2023. He was 86 years old.

Richard was born and raised with his sister Alice in Palmyra, New Jersey to the late Clifton and Esther Taylor. He earned his engineering degree from Drexel University and founded Taylor Engineering. He served as township engineer for many South Jersey municipalities including Cinnaminson, Palmyra and Maple Shade townships for many years.  Richard greatly enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake, touring the country via county roads on his Harley, and always open for new adventures and meeting new people.

Richard was a devoted husband to Ruth Ann Taylor (nee Wermuth); loving father to daughters, Nancy E. (Stephen) Rumaker, Katharine A. (Christopher) O'Malley, Lynda J. (Jonathan) Cook; grandfather to grandchildren, Jacquelyn Corpron, Richard Corpron (Stephanie), Nichole Corpron, Grace O'Malley (Frank), Jane O'Malley, Anne O'Malley, Mary O'Malley, Emily Cook, Tyler Cook; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Corpron, Jake Corpron, Luke Corpron, Mark Corpron, Kaimana Corpron, and Fabrizio Flaiano.

Richard will be reunited with his late wife Ruth Ann at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, and in his memory, donations can be made to the Compassus Hospice, 4390 Route 130 North, Suite A, Willingboro, NJ 08046.
