Robert C.
Dickerson
Mar 28, 1954 — Mar 2, 2026
Robert C. Dickerson, "Bob", age 71, of Cinnaminson, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 2, 2026.
Bob was born in 1954 in Camden, NJ to Marie and John Dickerson. He grew up in East Camden where he attended St. Joseph's Parochial Grammar School before going on to attend Camden Catholic High School.
Bob went on to a successful career in Real Estate, obtaining his Broker's License and owning his own agency for many years, Assured Properties. Bob's real estate agency was primarily based out of Mays Landing and the surrounding South Jersey Area.
He was a good athlete who enjoyed playing baseball and softball and would continue to enjoy those sports as he coached his children's teams when they were younger. Bob was a huge Philadelphia Sports Fan. He always supported his Phillies and loved watching his Eagles!
Bob was always friendly and very sociable. He was proud that he had many friends, including his lifelong friends from childhood. Bob faithfully organized and planned the annual "Boys Night" where all the boys would get together every March. He was also well known for his love of music, especially his favorite bands The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and anything from Motown.
Bob was an avid reader of Stephen King and, impressively, owned every book written by him. Bob also never missed playing the lottery daily, even during his illness he made sure his family or friends went "to get his numbers". Most of all Bob was devoted to his children, making their home the place to be for them and their friends, where he was famous for his Friday night steak sandwiches.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Marie (nee' Park) and John Dickerson, and by his beloved son Johnny Dickerson. He is survived by his loving daughters, Kelsey Dickerson and Kerri Dickerson (Jim Lista), and his dear granddaughters, Madison Dickerson and Meadow Lista. Also surviving are his sister, Jeannie Baker, niece Alicia McDowell (Jim), nephews Eric Dickerson (Katie) and Chris Dickerson, along with his great-nephews and great nieces, Nicholas, Isabella, Alexandra, Ava, Marley and Julia. Bob is also survived by many lifelong close friends including Michael, Ralph, Willie, Jack, Dominic and others, in addition to many cousins and extended family members. Additionally, Bob was predeceased by his brother John Dickerson, sister-in-law Denise Dickerson and brother-in-law Ken Baker.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a Memorial Service starting at 12:00 PM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. A luncheon to continue the celebration of Bob's life will follow.
