Robert I. Heck, age 89, of Riverton, NJ passed peacefully on December 27, 2020.

Born and raised in Riverside Park, NJ, Bob was a lifelong resident of Riverton, NJ. He was a graduate of Palmyra High School and Temple University. He was a 50+ year active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Riverton as well as a 50+ year active member of the Free & Accepted Masons, Beverly-Riverside Lodge No. 107 where he was a Distinguished Mason and had achieved his 32 ^nd Degree in Freemasonry.

Bob was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran having served on the USS Hunt following high school and was a member of the Jersey Joes Drum & Bugle Corps. He went on to a 38-year career with PSE&G retiring from the Engineering Department as an Underground Supervisor.

Bob was known in the neighborhood as "Hecky" and was the Vice President of the Maple Lane Swim Club where family, friends, neighbors, and their children gathered every summer.

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 61-years, Dorothy Jane Heck (nee Horner) and by his brother, Marvin Heck, Bob is survived by; his devoted children, Diana Pisel and her husband Bill, Nancy Heck-Jordan and her husband Earl, Gary Heck and his wife Suzanne, Karen Hulton and her husband Lenny, and George Heck; his loving grandchildren, Laurie, Logan, Sabrina, Jamie, Brody, Madison, Kayla, Hailey and Isabel; and by his great-grandchildren, Taylor, Paisley, Robert Harvey, and Leland James. He is also survived by his dear brother, Rich Heck and his family, his nephews George and Kyle Horner and their families, and by many friends.

A Celebration of Life and Military Honors will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 1:00pm on Maple Lane, Riverton, behind the Heck's former home.  Parking will be available at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.
