Obituary

Robert G. (Bob) Seither, lifelong resident of Cinnaminson, went home to his Lord and Savior on May 27th; he was 91.

He was preceded in death by his high-school sweetheart and beloved wife of 56 years, Shirley (nee Stoops), for whom he was a loving and compassionate caregiver during Shirley's prolonged battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was also preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Violet Seither, along with his two brothers, Jim (Grace) and Kenneth. He is survived by three children, Virginia (Stephen) Hyzer and Robert E. (Barbara) Seither of Cinnaminson, and Jay (Gail) Seither of Simpsonville, S.C. He has five grandchildren, Matthew (Eve) Hyzer, Katelyn (Andrew Smith), Bryan (Krysia), Robert J., and Jeffrey, as well as four great-grandchildren, Jane and Peter Hyzer, and Judah and Justus.

Bob worked for 42 years with the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, where he was an Associate Engineer.

Bob was a 50-year member of Central Baptist Church in Palmyra where he was a deacon, trustee and Sunday school teacher. He most recently attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cinnaminson. He loved singing in the choirs at both churches and was a frequent soloist. Bob especially enjoyed vacationing with his extended family each summer in Ocean City, N.J. He was also a member of Covenant Lodge No. 161 in Palmyra.

A visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, June 2 nd from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a funeral service at 11:00am, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, N.J.
