Obituary

Dr. Ronald Jay Pollock of Cinnaminson passed away peacefully on March 21, he was 83.

Ronald was the son of the late, Harry & Martha E. (nee Leonard) of Edgewater Park.  He graduated from Burlington City High School class of '55.  Ronald graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1959 with a bachelor's degree.  He also was a member of the fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa and was a captain of the baseball team.  Ronald earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1962 from Logan College of Chiropractic, where he later returned as an instructor and was President of the Alumni Association and sat on the Board of Trustees.  Ronald earned his Doctor of Humanities from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1972.

One highlight while "Ronnie" was growing up was as a member of a baseball team who was the Little League World Series National Runners-Up.  He also made lifelong friends as a member of the Boy Scouts.

Ronald established his Chiropractic practice in Cinnaminson in 1964.  He was a charter member, and later, on the Board of Directors and President of the New Jersey Chiropractic Society.  He was named New Jersey Chiropractor of the Year in 1982.  He served on the Cinnaminson Township Board of Health for several years.  Ronald's dedication to his profession in the healing arts allowed him to attentively care for his patients for 35 years.  "Doc" retired as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1999.

Ronald was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, Riverton, where he served on the vestry for many years.  He was one of the first two Chalice Bearers licensed at Christ Church.  He was a founding member of the St. Fiacre Guild, a group of dedicated volunteers who kept up the landscaping on the church's one-acre campus.  He was a faithful usher.  Ron has been involved in Project Interaction at St. Paul's Church in Camden, making breakfast as part of the crew sent from Christ Church.  Ron collected warm clothing for the needy and homeless of Camden and faithfully brought what he has gathered each Sunday during the cold weather season.  Ron was honored by the Diocesan Task Force as the congregation's Outstanding Older Adult in 2018.  Ronald was also a Mason.  Ronald was a member of the Riverton Country Club, just celebrating his 50-year membership.  Ronald was President of the Cinnaminson H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame for a number of years.  He was a Cinnaminson Pirates fan, through and through!

Ronald is survived by his devoted wife, Phaedra (nee Keffer), loving children, William Keffer and his wife Amy (nee Ross), Rev. Canon Ronald Neal, Portia Elizabeth Fudala and her husband, Edward, grandchildren, William Seth and his wife, Amanda (nee Ocando), Andrew Harry and his wife, Londyn (nee Hutson), Benjamin Ross, Alexander Joseph Fudala, Colby Lee Fudala and sister, Joan Pitko.  We are abundantly blessed to have such a truly remarkable husband, father, Pop-pop, and brother.
