Rui Castanheira of Cinnaminson passed away on Sept. 27. He was 45.

Rui was born in Philadelphia to Fernando and Maria Castanheira. He graduated from Cinnaminson High School, class of ’00, and worked as an insulator for Local 14.

Rui enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Eagles and Phillies, as well as soccer more recently.

Rui is survived by his loving wife, April (née Bailey); his children, Owen and Ava; his parents, Fernando and Maria; his sister, Alexandra (Steven) Nelson; his niece, Luci; his nephew, Noah; his father-in-law, Kenneth Bailey, Sr.; his sister-in-law, Brandie (Brian) Harrison; his brother-in-law, Kenneth A. Bailey, Jr.; his niece, Jalynn Allen; and his nephews, Marlon Allen and Jaelin Harrison.

A visitation for Rui will be held on Monday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Both will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 4th and Linden Ave., Riverton, NJ 08077.
