Sa'id Al-Amin Bey, 45, of Palmyra, New Jersey, transitioned to heaven on February 21, 2023, with his family by his side.  He was born on July 22, 1977, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Kahlil Rasheed Bey and Wanda (nee Miller) Bey.  Sa'id was a student in the Willingboro School District during his early years and finalized his studies at the Pemberton Township High School where he graduated in 1996.  Sa'id met and married the love of his life Amanda Bey on April 7, 2018.  From their union Sa'id gained a bonus daughter Autumn Nicole Williams. They later had a son Ishmaeel Abdullah Ibn Sa'id Bey on April 28, 2018.

Sa'id began his career at the age of sixteen (16) working for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).  This was a family affair with his mother as the manager aka "momager", and his older brother Kahlil as a coworker!  Some of the greatest moments happened in the KFC store; especially at night during closing hours!  Sa'id and the entire crew loved listening to music and eating food while cleaning the restaurant to prepare for the morning shift.  This is where the KFC crew became a permanent family.  He was known to tell jokes and was equipped with lyrics ready for any rap battle.  Sa'id could convince you to do anything you didn't want to do with a joke tied to it.  His infamous phrases were to "man up" and "stupid people do stupid things!"  In his adult years he began working as the Team Leader in Distribution & Logistics Services at the TD Bank Mount Laurel Campus in 2001 until his transition.  This is where he gained another work family.  Just recently Sa'id won the 2023 CEO Leadership Award for his performance and dedication to his team.

Sa'id is predeceased by his father Kahlil Rasheed Bey.  Sa'id's legacy will continue to be cherished by: His loving wife Amanda Bey of Palmyra; Bonus daughter Autumn Nicole Williams and son Ishmaeel Abdullah Ibn Sa'id Bey of Palmyra; His mother Wanda Bey; Brothers Kahlil Rasheed Ibn Bey of Florida, Robert (Jessica) Pettyjohn of Alabama, Jamal Hakim Bey of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends!

A funeral service for Sa'id will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at 11:00am at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment to follow at Morgan Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
