Samuel D. Wood of Pennsauken passed away suddenly on September 14th, he was 68.

Samuel was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Samuel and Sylvia (nee Streng.)  A lifelong resident of Pennsauken, Samuel was a parishioner at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Merchantville, a member and past president of the Horticultural Orchid Society, and enjoyed gardening, especially orchids.  He also worked many years at Shop Rite in Delran and more recently, Cinnaminson.

Samuel is survived by his siblings, David (Julie) Wood, Gary (Carolyn) Wood, and Lisa A. Wood.  He is also the uncle of Gary M., Ashley, and Geneva.

A visitation for Samuel will be held on Friday, September 26th from 8:45am to 9:45am at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 W. Maple Ave., Merchantville, NJ 08109.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
