Sarah A. Dawson of Willingboro passed away peacefully at home on May 9th, she was 96.

Sarah was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.  She attended Frederick Douglass High School, class of '44, then went on to earn her bachelor's degree in mathematics from Morgan State University, class of '49.  Sarah was a member of the American Association of University Women and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beverly, NJ.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, George P., Jr. US Army Maj. Ret. She is survived by children, George Perry, III, Lynnette C., Jay W. (Debra), grandchildren, Sarah Heatherlynn, Rebekah Helen,  Meredith Lynn Brim, MD, Lynnsey Ciara Brim, Sarah Elizabeth, Hannah Joy Gonzalez (Eliseo), great-grandson, Jayden Matthew Hamilton and many other extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 which will begin promptly at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. 158 Warren Street, Beverly, NJ 08010. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia will be held privately on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
