Stella Prokopof, age 91, of Burleigh, NJ passed peacefully on January 2, 2021.

Stella is survived by the true loves of her life, her children, Yvonne V. Griffin (the late Irv Sheridan) and Gregory Griffin and his wife Diana.

Stella was born and raised in Philadelphia and had resided in Burleigh, Cape May Court House, NJ for many years where she was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church. Stella was always a vibrant person with a real love for life. She was a very hard worker who always provided for her family spending many years working in the garment industry. Stella was especially kind and thoughtful with never a mean word said of anyone, she made friends easily and enjoyed talking with anyone. Her favorite things in life included being at the Shore, Swimming in the ocean and bay, fishing with her family, enjoying a good meal, trying new foods, and shopping. She especially enjoyed traveling and went to many places in the U.S. and abroad with favorite trips including visits to Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France to name a few. All who knew her loved her for zeal for life and for her spirit.
