Obituary

Stephen Lippincott, age 69, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 24, 2020, at his home in Cinnaminson, NJ. Stephen grew up in Palmyra and graduated from Palmyra High School in 1969. A self-taught musician, Steve (Lippy) played guitar and was the lead vocalist in local bands, including The Rogues and The Last Edition.

Steve earned an Associate's Degree from Burlington County College and went on to work as a Software Engineer at several companies, most notably Telesciences, Telenex, and Controlled Access (CA) Technologies.

Steve was a 40-year resident of Cinnaminson. He loved to read, play guitar, and cook. He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 47 years, Adele, particularly to Key West and also London, Spain, and Ireland.

Steve is survived by his wife, Adele (nee Fernandez), and his daughters, Amy Coleman, and her husband, Mario, of Orlando, FL, and Megan Schweitzer, and her husband Jason, of Merchantville, NJ. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Alyssa Coleman, Amaya Coleman, Josiah Schweitzer, and Lorelai Schweitzer, as well as his brother, Stan, of Cherry Hill and his niece, Tricia Lippincott.  Stephen was predeceased by his parents, George and Catherine (nee Mathews).

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, January 30, from 5-7 PM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, where the service will begin at 7 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton NJ 08053.
