Susan M. Gavin-Leone passed away on June 17th, 2024at the age of 64. Susan was born in Ridgewood, NJ. Her family moved frequently while she was growing up and she was raised in New Jersey, Vermont, and Connecticut.

Susan met her husband Mario while working with the Youth Ministry at Sacred Heart in Riverton, NJ. She married Mario at Sacred Heart and they built their family in Cinnaminson, NJ where they raised three sons. Susan has been employed by the University of Pennsylvania's library system, for 21 years, where she fostered her passion for reading and research. While working for the University of Pennsylvania, Susan completed an Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's of Science Degree in Library Science from Drexel University.

Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mario J. Leone, children, Mario T. (Stephanie N.) Leone, Benjamin J. Leone, Giovanni D. (Ariana H.) Leone, grandchildren, Lorenzo G., Mario S., her brothers, Thomas (Susan Stone) Gavin, Jr., William (Meredith) Gavin, Martin Gavin, and many nieces and nephews. Susan is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Gavin, and her sister, Elizabeth Yuskaitis.

A visitation for Susan will be held on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.  A visitation will also be held on Monday, June 24th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, all at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street & Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will be held privately.
