Theodore T. Hines, II, age 74, of Palmyra, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on July 31, 2023.

Born in Millville, NJ, Ted grew up in Mt. Holly and was a graduate of Rancocas Valley High School. He was a talented mechanic who spent his early career working on Tugboats for the Sonat Corp. of Philadelphia before joining FedEx as a mechanic at their Philadelphia Airport facility.

Ted loved being on the water and was a skilled fisherman. From a very early age he would fish every chance he had and would even help as a Mate on friends' charter boats throughout the years. He and his son, Ted, kept their beloved boat, "Machine", in Mystic Island and spent a lot of their time fishing the Great Bay in New Jersey; he knew the waters there very well and had all the best fishing spots! Ted enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to fish and to love being on or near the water.

Ted is survived by his loving children, Ted Hines III and his wife, Nicole, of Riverton, NJ and Crystal Hines and her fiancé, Jackson Reid, of Delanco. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Kiley, Jillian, Reed and Max, by his brothers, Randy and Kenny Conroy, and by the mother of his children, Linda Hines, along with many friends and fishing buddies.
