Vincent C. Fynan, Jr, of Moorestown, NJ passed away on December 28, 2020. He was 75.
Born August 27, 1945 Vincent, known as "Vince" or "Vinnie", was a lifelong resident of Moorestown, NJ. He was raised by his loving parents, Margaret and Vincent Fynan Sr., who preceded him in death. Vince graduated from Holy Cross High School and received his undergraduate degree from La Salle University. He began his career in education within the Pemberton Township school district teaching mathematics. He pursued his masters in education from Glassboro State College while teaching full time and raising a family. He achieved Vice Principal and ultimately Principal during his tenure with Pemberton Township school district until retirement. Vince also worked evenings as an administrative supervisor for many years for Burlington County Institute of Technology. He enjoyed inspiring and engaging his students through education and coaching sports. He made many friends along the way and touched the hearts and minds of students and coworkers alike.
Vince was known as an easy going, loving, humble and giving man. He was a protective father and grandfather and loved his family wholeheartedly. Devotion knows no better definition than Vincent Fynan, Jr. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, and enjoyed baseball, dining out, exploring LBI and local travel, and spending time with his family. He has left behind a legacy of compassion, love, humor, good will and family devotion.
Vince was a loving, devoted, and steadfast husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Janice Fynan, his son, Jeffrey, his daughters Danielle Shah (Ravi) and Jeanine Lippincott (Michael), his dog, Keeley; grandchildren Nathan Shah, Erin Shah, Edie Lippincott and Arthur Lippincott; and adoring siblings, Jane Connelly (Albert), Michael (Meg), Peggy and Donna, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services to celebrate Vince's life will be scheduled at a later date. A private mass of Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Riverton when concerns related to the global pandemic are lessened.
