Waldemar F. Holzapfel of Delran passed away peacefully on June 4 ^th , he was 86.

Waldemar was born in Germany to Karl and Helene Holzapfel in 1935.  He immigrated to the United States in 1956 and went on to serve proudly in the US Army during the Korean War.  Waldemar had a 30 year career at Stylex in Delanco, was a member of Cannstatter Volksfest-Verein in Philadelphia and an avid soccer (football) fan.

Waldemar is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Edeltraut (nee Roth), children, Ralph (Anne), Walter (Lori), Angela (Charles) Harvis, grandchildren, Karl, Kurtis, Kevin, Katherine, Dean, Brittany, Megan, Kimberly and brother Hans (Margaret.)

A funeral service for Waldemar will be held on Wednesday, June 16 ^th at 11:00am at Zion Lutheran Church, 218 S. Fairview St., Riverside, NJ 08075.  Interment will follow at B.G. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers (which are not permitted at the cemetery) memorial contributions in Waldemar's name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org
