Walter W. Novoshielski, age 70, of Cinnaminson, NJ passed on February 1, 2024.

Walter was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Anna K. (nee' Weisser) and Walter Novoshielski and was a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, NJ. Walter graduated from Holy Cross High School, Class of 1971, then attended Burlington County Community College before earning his bachelor's degree in US History from Rutgers University.

While attending Burlington County College, Walter developed a love acting and theater, participating in several performances including the lead in the play "The Chinese Wall". He would continue to act and participated in productions with the Burlington County Footlighters and the Haddonfield Plays & Players, he also directed a play for the Pompeston Environmental Society.

Walter spent his career as a history teacher in several area school systems and gave his time as a coach for many years of the girls' softball teams for Sacred Heart Church, Riverton, where he was a longtime member.

Walter is survived by his dear sisters, Sandra Novoshielski, Cheryl deBlecourt, and Marilyn Novoshielski. He is also survived by his nephew, Dustin Novoshielski, and nieces, Paige Mansur (Paul) and Michelle Geneva (Kevin), as well as by his great nephew, Archer Geneva.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM all at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street & Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
