Obituary

Wanda Lee Holt, age 69, of Cinnaminson, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed peacefully at her home on October 5, 2024.

Wanda was born in Philadelphia, PA to Charlene and Jesse Edwards. She spent her childhood in Tennessee with her family, before relocating back to Philadelphia for many years, until settling in Cinnaminson, NJ. 7 years ago.

She was a longtime member of the Apostolic Revival Church in Philadelphia.

Wanda was a true woman of God. She lived by his word and was a shining example of what it means to be a "Chrisitan." She did not hold an ounce of hate in her heart. She loved graciously, and without judgment. Wanda was a safe space for many - always there with her open arms and calming nature. Wanda loved as Jesus loved. It was also her faith that helped her survive and beat cancer.

Wanda was an animal lover, rescuing many animals throughout the years- but her cats always held a special place in her heart. She also loved music and was blessed with a beautiful voice that would draw crowds in every weekend. Bonded by their love of music, together with her husband, Michael Holt, they built and operated "Holt Entertainment" bringing others endless fun through Music & Karaoke for many years. She loved her "Karaoke Family" dearly.

But most of all, Wanda was a "MOM" through and through. She devoted her life to caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being a mother, and was every new mom's first call for advice.  Watching her family expand was the joy of her life.

Her love and prayers for her children will live on through generations to come.

Wanda was predeceased by her father, Jesse Edwards and her sister, Jeanie Fuhrmeister. She is survived by her mother, Charlene Edwards, her beloved husband of 41 years, Michael J. Holt, and their children, George Negron (Gladys), Kristina Negron, Angela Negron, Jamie Murphy (Daniel), Christian Holt and Gianna Holt. Also surviving are her beloved 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as her four sisters, three brothers and many nieces, nephews and extended family, and friends who grew to become family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Burial will then follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
