William J. Hanstein, Jr. ("POP") 1923-2018

Bill Hanstein, "Pop", "Grandcopper" passed away peacefully in Clearwater, Florida on Saturday October 13,2018 after a long illness.

Born on May 11, 1923,  Pop was a Proud Member of The U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded The Silver Star for Valor in Italy in 1943. He was a member of American Legion Post #372, Cherry Hill,NJ.

Employed by the Honeywell of Fort Washington, PA for many years; a True Craftsman if there ever was one. An avid Fisherman of the Villas, NJ and Everglades City, Fl, Pop had many a Boat and numerous homes and motor vehicles.

Bill was proceed in death by his wife Dorothy and daughter Mary. Surviving are his beloved wife Lois Hanstein, many Family Members, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Friends.

All are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by his funeral service at 10:00 AM all at the WEBER FUNERAL HOME, 112 Broad Street (River Rd.), Riverton, NJ 08077 (856-829-2700). Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
