William "Bill" Joseph McMahon, Sr. passed away August 27, 2018 in Moorestown, NJ. He was 87.

A longtime Riverton, NJ resident, he was a dedicated teacher, coach, and athletic director with the Philadelphia School District. His career included championship teams in track and field, football, and basketball. Bill officiated for the New Jersey Track and Field Officials Association for more than 25 years and with the Penn Relays for over 20 years. In retirement Bill was a member of Learning Is For Everyone (LIFE) program housed at Rowan College at Burlington County and hosted their popular Fun and Games class.

Bill is survived by; his wife of 62 years, Patricia; his sister, Mary Lou; his children Patricia, Brian (Robin), Kathleen (Steven) and William; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Jane.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 8,, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street and Linden Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077.
