William T. Matthews of Moorestown, passed away peacefully on May 7 ^th , he was 74.

William was born in Philadelphia to John T. and Loraine Matthews.  He graduated Palmyra High School, class of '66 where he enjoyed athletics.  As an adult, William became an avid golfer.

William was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jacqueline Gunn Smith, Patricia Harper, Thomas Matthews and nephew Jeffery Gunn.  He is survived by his sister, Lorraine (Clarence) Bowers of Moorestown, nephews/nieces, John D. Gunn, Dennis P Gunn, William Bowers, Michael Bowers, Karin Kinkaide, Justin Matthews, Kimberlee Matthews and many great and great-great nieces/nephews.

Services for William will be held privately.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions in William's name may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
