Obituary

William H. Pounds, II, age 72, of Moorestown, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 10, 2024.

Bill was born in 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Louise and William J. Pounds, II. He grew up in Camden and Pennsauken, NJ and was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School in 1970. Bill went on to graduate from Mount Saint Mary's University, Emmitsburg, MD in 1974.

Bill enjoyed a long and successful career in commercial real estate. For a number of years, he worked in Philadelphia before he established his own firm in 1994. WHPounds Commercial Real Estate has been located in Pennsauken, NJ since 2016. As the Broker of Record for his firm, he focused on the South Jersey market, representing a variety of clients and helping to complete many successful transactions. The company remains a trusted partner in the market.

Bill served as a longtime board member for the Children's Home of Burlington County, was a 30+ year member of Riverton Country Club, and an active member of the Hutton Hill Rifle & Revolver Club. He enjoyed golf throughout his life, among many other hobbies. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and close knit group of friends.

Bill fulfilled his dream of raising a family. He planned many trips and organized countless celebrations that filled his home with love. He and his wife, Bella, attended their children's performances and sporting events, and always prioritized Sunday dinner together. He passed down hobbies and skills to his children, who carry on his legacy.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of 35 years, Isabella D. Pounds (née Dell'Orefice), and by his parents, Louise (née Salerno) and William J. Pounds, II. He is survived by his loving children, Willam F. Pounds, Elizabeth M. Pounds, Julia L. Pounds and Alexandria I. Holba (née Pounds) (Taylor), and by his brothers, Richard J. Pounds (Dale) and Gregory S. Pounds (Laura). Bill is also survived by "his little pal", Lucky the dog, as well as by his many, cherished friends.
